‘..we’ll play anywhere you want us to - just tell us, and we’ll be there!..’. And I’d bet these Yorkshire lads would bring bloody badger with ‘em!! With a variety of styles from mixed death metal / screech vox to evil Slayer riffing to chunking rhythms amalgamated into the band’s sound - there’s definitely nowt taken owt in With Chaos In Her Wake. Thankfully, listening to tracks like the techno death ‘Genocide: Oppressive Violence’ to the haunting atmospherics of ‘Dehumanization’ to the deathcore of ‘Scars In The Obelisk’, it’s not chaos in any way largely thanks to the slow-but-heavy pace that allows the full power of the band to be appreciated whilst not taking away from any breakaways of musical dexterity. Despite only forming a year ago, this young band have already played an incredible amount of shows, and it’s clearly reflected in the quality of their playing and the maturity of their songs.
