TWILIGHT While looking through the booklet for “Born Undivine” I came upon the cover to Twilight’s debut album from 1998. Upon seeing that one I got the uncanny feeling that I had heard said album and that I have no recollection whatsoever of it. I still don’t know if that is the case but once I heard this new one I knew that I and Twilight were in for a fun ride. There’s a majestic feel to Twilight’s metal. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it progressive but there is that element to it. An almost operatic feel to the use of choir-like vocal lines has also snuck into the mix making for an album that sets its mark quite offensively in the frontline of heavy metal. I had no expectations whatsoever on this album but it proved to be a very positive surprise.
