Like a hardcore version of Pantera with punk tinges, Ligeia - who are named after the famous Edgar Allen Poe story - have crawled their way up the ladder with their take no prisoners attitude thru constant touring and their reality check songs like ‘Hoodrat’ and ‘Heroin Diaries’. “Bad News” is their second album using Ken Susi (Unearth) once again on production and presents 11 songs with alternating barkblast / soulful vocals, grinding guitar and fast chopping rhythm to get that circle pit goin’ to.
