There are some bands that get mentioned more often than others whenever somebody needs to seem creddy. And no band in recent history seem to over-bridge boundaries like Radiohead. Everybody from NME to Kerrang! seem to use them as a sort of reference-point for everything that falls out of ordinary categories. Which is were Jolly fits in, sort of. They might not twist and turn like say King Crimson or early Genesis but they?re still enough awkward to be considered progressive (apparently). You could say that they are the Radiohead of prog rock, not too complicated for mass attention but still quirky enough to not be played on commercial radio. And for that they should be awarded. It's hard enough to be original today without anybody accusing you of ripping off this or that, that any attempt at differing should be held in highest respect.
