With relentless thundering riffs and some excellent barkblast vocals courtesy of David Bonacchi this lot have Amon Amarth sussed right down to the bone (in fact it wouldn't surprise me if Johan Hegg is stalking them right now with big axe to grind ha ha) so it's no coincidence with songs like 'Amon Ra'! Still, I like AA a lot so I'm happy to lap up more especially when it's done well enough by the likes of CC (bit of a strange name cos there's nowt core in there) such as on the excellent 'Alchemist' where Bonacchi's gutterally drawls "....the alchemist rides the doped horse..." whilst riffs crash down amidst a frenzy of splash cymbal - nicely done!
