Carmine Appice
”Ultimate Guitar Zeus”
(Escapi Music)

Put together by legendary drummer Carmine Appice (originally of Vanilla Fudge) and around a nucleus of Tony Franklin (bass - The Firm) and Kelly Keeling (keyboards and vocals - MSG), ”Ultimate Guitar Zeus” is a 14 track compilation of co-written songs from Appice’s glittering career (including Rod Stewart's 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy'!!).
Recorded in the mid 90s and therefore only available on Appice’s website for

fan club members, the release of Ultimate Guitar Zeus showcases 14 different stylized electric guitar solos in songs that range the blues, psychedelia, and hard rock. There’s an astonishing array of top level guitar talent assembled here (something that only the likes of Carmine Appice could’ve pulled together so that is a feat in itself!) including Brian May, Ted Nugent, Slash, Richie Sambora, Pat Travers, Neal Schon, Zakk Wylde and more. Better still, among the guests are actor / lama Steve Seagal and tennis god / brat John McEnroe!
