Hail the return of epicus doomicus - none other than Sweden’s doom gods Candlemass.

DVD 1 is the full concert of their farewell show which of course features classics like “The Bells of Acheron” and “The Well of Souls” which made this band huge back in the late 80s and early 90s and arguably brought back doom metal. DVD 2 contains a full biographical interview with the band (none of whom speak English - now that truly surprised me - along with Messiah Marcolins revelation that he only had 1 monk’s robe which as time wore on became mouldy!), TV appearances and a series of bootleg footage from 1987 to 1992 Another winner from Escapi Music, serving as a fitting epitaph to the legend that was Candlemass.
