.....Those of you old enough might remember that there used to be a US band called Deathrash. They never made it out of the demo scene but their name seems to have left some impact on the current metal scene. German metal band Buried God is what could be described as a death/thrash band. They have elements from both death and thrash metal and at times they do the mix really good. It’s at these times that I involuntarily want to shake my head like I used to do when I was younger. It’s also at these times that Buried God are on to something really good. But as with most things today it doesn’t hold all the way. The lack of variation at the end is the biggest disadvantage that Buried God faces.
