‘Downburst’

These German dudes have been going since the late 80s and play workmanlike mid tempo pure heavy metal. Not surprisingly they're big in Germany, especially with their trademark bierkeller look, but have an experienced sound and capability with soulful (english) vocals, liberal use of keyboards, albeit with cutting edge guitar that’s capable of both fire and ice in its sound set against heavy background sound. ‘Downburst’ is I think their 7th album with 10 songs reflective of the above sounds. Whilst their laid back 'second division' look may not impress image wise, judging by the years of touring undertaken by these seasoned veterans, they're like Rocky Balboa with bunches of meat just lookin for your tender ribs!
