Wow, these Canadian stoners play the Fu Manchu to the max with a healthy dose of Iron Maiden that would have ol' 'arry (that's Steve Harris to the rest of the world) thinking "hmmm, what if I'd smoked that extra bong and not gone punk..."!! Although not as mindless as that other wooly mammoth roaming the tundra (i'm talking 'bout Bison BC), Barn Burner are nevertheless adept in creating their own form of musical mayhem albeit with a cool rocking groove on their faster tracks like 'Tremors' or 'Running Reds' whilst still tripping the light fantastic with acid burned hippy vocals 'Wizard Island' or 'Beer Today, Bong Tommorrow' - as well as the old school ode to Maiden instrumental (remember 'Transylvannia'?) on 'Old Habits'!
