No kidding - Anima were formed in Nordhausen, which if my memory serves me correctly was the production centre to the German V2 rocket installed deep inside a mountain courtesy of brutalised concentration camp inmates! And it comes as little surprise that Anima play brutal death scream core that has all the characteristic vocal sounds from blackened screams to Chris Barne's shrills and belly grunts. With complementing chainsawing bludgeon riffs to spazzed out drumming it somewhat carries on the sad tradition associated with that town on tracks like 'Cu(n)t & Twist', 'I Am Sick I Want to Kill' and the final black metal tribute climax of 'XXXIII' - this album is aptly titled "Enter The Killzone", and in doing so prepare to die!!!
