ALTARIA

Altaria has been in my conscious for some time but I have never bothered to check them out. Now that I have had the chance I have to constantly remind myself that they are Finns and not Germans because this is as Euro Metal as it gets. This necessarily doesn’t have to be a negative thing. If they don’t break it big in central Europe then they’ll never ever make it. I can see them playing a youth hostel club somewhere in southern Germany to an overexcited full-capacity crowd. Altaria’s euro metal is that good, which I kind of never expected I would write. It so good you could use it as an instruction manual to what euro metal is. If you like euro metal you’re already familiar with Altaria. The rest of us better make sure to catch on if we don’t want to miss this train that Altaria is.
