The seeds of what was to become the oddly named Corroosion were planted some 10 years ago when this northern Italian band were first known as Hekatomb. Since then they’ve had plenty of time to develop and gain experience, as well as hook up with Hatebreed’s production team to produce this formidable 12 track debut, which is a high quality mixture of different extreme styles captured by a big professional sound. Whether it’s the syrup thick dervish riffs of the extreme metal ‘Mirror Of Void Mirror’ to the Chris Barnes alternating shrills / gutteral vox of ‘Waiting For Your Suicide’ to the Napalm Death sounding ‘Enumerate Muriatic Breakdown’ or the socially reflective ‘Life Is Beautiful But Sometimes Hardcore Porn Is better’, this is heavy duty, power driven deathcore - sub woofer recommended!!!
