"Inherit The Meek" (-) There are times when I miss the good old days of German thrash metal like Darkness or Exumer played it, you know the stop and go riffing and the no-balls-full-speed approach. Little did I expect to find it on a record by an American band. But that's what Command Presence reminded me of to begin with. They might not have the same full-speed approach but they are very close to the German thrash metal sound in spirit. I'm not sure they agree with me, but hey that's how I remember it. That's the good part of this CD. The bad is that they seem to have over-indulged a bit. It wouldn't have hurt the record if it had been 15- 20 minutes shorter. Either that or they have to become better songwriters. 60 minutes is a bit too much. -Anders Ekdahl
