Biohazard have always stood toe to toe against the world: loved by the loyal and hated everyone else! But few bands can claim to mix NY hardcore, metal and rap to create the furious whirlwind sound of Biohazard and that's cos few bands actually live the street life. Biohazard bring the street to your living room. The band, still consisting of the core of Evan, Billy and Danny have the talent to genuinely mixe sub and counter cultures to get the best from them. So the nay-sayers say the band spent the last few years in rehab, well I heard different and that they were training in Brazillian Ju Jitsu (they certainly look fitter and leaner than in past years) and I guess thats brought back a killer instinct but governed by a control and sense of maturity exemplified in Kill Or Be Killed. While I'm less than thrilled by the prospect of bassist Evan Seinfeld starring in porno with his wife (I'm only kidding Evan) Kill Or Be Killed (alongside its predecessor Uncivilization) is a return full circle to the days of Urban Discipline although its not all speed and aggression but also slow and heavy in some places: the new Biohazard is an all round pit fighter! Yo Brooklyn - respect!!
